Overview
Giving Form to a Feeling
With no experience in fashion or business, I decided to launch Morose alongside my studies — driven by the simple need to create something personal. What began as a form of expression evolved into a real brand, shaped by an introspective and minimalist visual identity.
My goal was clear: to release a first collection by summer 2022. I built the brand's visual universe through research, inspiration and emotion, until I created a logo and t-shirt designs that felt aligned with the tone I wanted to convey.

I designed all the visuals, sourced textile suppliers, managed the printing process and oversaw every step of production.
With no formal training in photography, I also took charge of the photoshoots, traveling to Lyon, Cannes and Paris.
Friends volunteered as models, allowing me to capture authentic images that reflected the spirit of the brand.
For distribution, I built a Shopify e-commerce website and designed custom packaging — each piece was carefully rolled and delivered in rigid cardboard tubes, staying true to the brand’s identity.

I personally managed all order fulfillment and shipping, from packing to dispatch. I also handled the legal setup of the business, and worked with an accountant to manage finances and ensure the brand ran properly behind the scenes.

I officially brought Morose to a close in early 2023, as the project became too time-consuming alongside my growing academic commitments. Still, I don’t see this as a failure — quite the opposite. Morose was a personal success that taught me a lot about entrepreneurship, creative independence, and turning ideas into reality. It helped me build discipline, confidence, and a much broader perspective on what it means to create and manage a brand.
